Well it is the time of year for going home and spending time with the family. I look forward to some down/research time over the break.
Happy Holidays, keep the mind rolling.

This year I had a great day of reviews at CAA. I was fortunate to meet with not only my scheduled artists in residence but also museum staff and other academy staff. The feedback I got was constructively critical, supportive, and gave me a great push forward.
Since I have returned back to the states and to Cranbrook I have been quite busy. (as one should be)
So far this semester Cranbrook has taken part in SOFA Chicago as well as two other students (Amy Weiks & Dave Rollins) and myself taking part in the James hotel residency during the same time period. Our SOFA Chicago booth was sponsored by Ornamentum gallery and Cranbrook Academy of Art. Participants included current Metals students, Metals Alumni, elective students and visiting artists providing a nice assortment of work and ideas. Images for SOFA and the James hotel can be found in the other folder. Enjoy! |
