So it is Saturday, been in Berlin for a few days now. Did some sleeping to try and get past the jet lag. Did some shopping to get settled in and do some cooking her in the studio. Thursday I went out on a search for an art supply store but think I did a couple of wrong turns. Instead of the art store I made my way to Alexanderplatz and spent some time there and had a bite to eat.
Yesterday I went out to Bauhaus, basically Berlin's Home Depot but better in some ways. There I got a few things to toy with as well as things needed to finish up my pieces for the show win Brussels. After spending about an hour there I got some more food stuffs and headed home to make dinner before going out. Two of the interns that have been here for the past two months were celebrating their last work day at Cafe Brugge so we all met for a drink. A good few of the artists are away on holiday but I got to meet and talk with some of the residents here. It is crazy how fast time flies here since I am not use to their hours of daylight. Before I knew it not only did 10:00pm creep up on us but so did midnight and so on. For me it wasn't too big of a deal because its still my internal day time but all else were tired eventually. Today I am working in the studio and will meet with one of the girls from last night at the gallery for a bit. Weather is lovely, very much like home .... humid and hot! More to come later~
