Well I have been here for about two weeks now and love it of course. During my time here I have met some of the other artists doing residencies here. They are great people to enjoy artist talks and dinners with I must say. If you would like to know some of my neighbors please check out www.bethanien.de .
Other than that I have done some walking about and exploring as well as visiting the Hause der Dinge. Hause der Dinge is basically a museum of objects and I really loved spending my rainy afternoon in their space. There was also an art opening at the Bethanien Gallery which included one of the residents here from Australia. It had a great layout and an even better turn out, so congrats! Some of the images I have included are of the art chats, the show at Bethanien, Carson Grubaugh's work on this years Mercedes-Benz museum pass and package, some shots from around town as well as from the studio. This week Jen Reich from Cranbrook is visiting me for a few days. After her visit I will be going to Stuttgart for the 72 hour Urban Action even as well as some other sight seeing opportunities. Upon my return I have another visitor! Alissa Lamarre, also a student from Cranbrook. She and I will be finishing up work for the exhibition in Brussels, Belgium as well as some running around the city here in Berlin!! Have a great weekend!
